This Privacy Policy explains how Vozly handles information when you use the Vozly macOS voice-to-text writing app and the related sign-in pages.

What Vozly does

Vozly helps users dictate text on macOS. The app can capture microphone audio while you are actively dictating, transcribe speech into text, clean up the text, and place the result into the app where you are writing.

Information we collect

  • Account information such as your email address, user identifier, and basic profile details when you sign in.
  • Authentication data needed to keep you signed in securely.
  • App settings and optional local history entries that help Vozly remember your preferences.
  • Microphone audio and dictated text only when needed to provide dictation and transcription features.

Google user data

When you choose Google Sign-In, Vozly uses Google only to authenticate your account. Vozly receives basic profile information such as your Google account identifier, email address, name, and profile image if Google provides it.

Vozly does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, or other Google content. Vozly does not sell Google user data.

How we use information

  • To create and secure your Vozly account.
  • To provide dictation, transcription, cleanup, settings, and related app functionality.
  • To troubleshoot, protect, and improve Vozly.
  • To communicate with you about support or account-related issues.

Sharing and service providers

We may use service providers such as hosting, authentication, database, and infrastructure providers to operate Vozly. These providers are used only as needed to provide and secure the service. We do not sell your personal information or Google user data.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect account information, authentication data, and app-related data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to limit access to what is needed to operate Vozly.

Your choices

You can stop using Google Sign-In, sign out of Vozly, disable optional history features in the app, or contact us to request help with account-related data.
