Who is responsible

SyeDev LLC FZ is the operator of Vozly and the controller responsible for account and service information described in this policy. In this policy, “Vozly,” “we,” and “us” refer to SyeDev LLC FZ.

What Vozly does

Vozly helps users dictate text on macOS and Windows. The app can capture microphone audio while you are actively dictating, transcribe speech into text, clean up the text, and place the result into the app where you are writing.

Information we collect

• Account information such as your email address, user identifier, and basic profile details when you sign in.
• Authentication data needed to keep you signed in securely.
• App settings and optional history entries stored locally on your computer to remember your preferences and help you recover recent dictations.
• Microphone audio and dictated text while needed to provide the transcription and optional cleanup features you use.
• Account-linked aggregate cloud-usage data, including weekly transcription audio-duration totals, transcription and cleanup word totals, per-minute request counters, and quota-reservation metadata with an expiration time, used to apply plan limits and prevent abuse. These records do not contain your audio or transcript text.

How dictation is processed

Cloud transcription is the default for signed-in users. While you dictate, Vozly sends the active recording through its secured relay to its speech-processing provider so it can return text. If AI cleanup is enabled, the resulting transcript is also processed to produce the cleaned text. The relay counts processed audio duration, words, and requests for plan enforcement, but Vozly does not intentionally add the audio or transcript itself to a server-side searchable history.

You can choose the on-device transcription engine in Settings. With that engine, speech transcription runs on your computer; an enabled cloud cleanup feature may still send the transcript for cleanup. Your recent searchable dictation history is stored locally and can be disabled.

Google user data

When you choose Google Sign-In, Vozly uses Google only to authenticate your account. Vozly receives basic profile information such as your Google account identifier, email address, name, and profile image if Google provides it.

Vozly does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, or other Google content. Vozly does not sell Google user data.

How we use information

• To create and secure your Vozly account.
• To provide dictation, transcription, cleanup, settings, and related app functionality.
• To administer plan allowances and billing entitlements, enforce rate limits, and prevent abuse using aggregate usage data.
• To troubleshoot, protect, and improve Vozly using operational data and privacy-respecting analytics choices.
• To communicate with you about support or account-related issues.

Sharing and service providers

We may use service providers for speech processing, AI cleanup, hosting, authentication, databases, payments, and infrastructure. They receive only the information needed to provide and secure the relevant service. We do not sell your personal information, dictated content, or Google user data.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect account information, authentication data, and app-related data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to limit access to what is needed to operate Vozly.

Your choices

You can choose the on-device transcription engine, disable AI cleanup or local history, stop using Google Sign-In, sign out of Vozly, or contact us to request help with account-related data. Product analytics and any future diagnostic-sample sharing require separate choices; diagnostic content sharing is not enabled by default.
